  Disclaimer: I am a recent CALI transplant to New Braunfels and am a consignment/thrift and vintage shopper with a ton of experience. And I guess that makes me demanding you could say. I spotted this cute downtown shop and made a point to stop in with my middle-school aged daughter after school. The shop itself is wonderfully appointed---extremely quaint and decorated to a "tee." There's quite a mixture of some vintage, some costume, maybe some consignment and a wee bit of thrift thrown in. Along with handmade jewelry and other period artifacts mixed in. Very cool and kinda "museum vibe-ish." But I had to give a 2 star rating because this place is expensive! YIKES! I don't mind shelling out more for vintage stuff of course, but there are some JCP and Target labels here going for $19.95. Unbelievable-- really. Moreover, the shop keeper (owner) seemed to make it a point to helicopter-us around the entire time were in store--- in that " I think you're going to steal-something-from-me" kind of irritating way, while neglecting other shoppers in store--- even after I purchased a couple of items (!) I will be back to shop, but probably not purchase too much here--- there are lots of other places in this neck of the woods for those seeking something unique--- without paying a bundle and being bugged!

  Found some really good deals on higher end pieces for ladies. Shop owner really nice and informative. Gave me names of several other local shops that might have more of what I want/need. Love the support for local businesses.
